With the Fourth of July only ONE week away, I have organized for you a little outfit inspiration guide ~ for all of your heart happy Fourth of July needs.
If you are anything like me, then you will probably wait until next week to even begin to figure out what your actual Fourth of July plans are, let alone figure out what to wear. But, when you do know where you are going and what you are doing, Gracefulandfree has all that you need in terms of your holiday inspiration for your 4th of July Outfit.
Truth be told, I absolutely LOVE the Fourth of July, maybe it’s because my favorite dessert includes angel food, cool whip, blueberries & strawberries, OR maybe my heart just has the best memories surrounded by the best family at our grandparents’ lake house OR maybe it’s because this history teacher is appreciate of all the historical. OR maybe it’s the sentimental as the 4th always holds a hilariously romantic story between J and I.
Either way, I love the Fourth and I am SO excited that it is a week away!
Also, if you are in the mood for a throwback, here is last year’s Fourth of July Outfit Inspiration Guide.

I am a big fan of wearing different pieces multiple ways and a firm believer that you don’t need to spend a fortune on your wardrobe. All you need is a few classic pieces that you can interchange and work together on multiple outfits!
This RED BLOUSE from Old Navy is adorable. Cute white florals and buttons, can be paired with all kinds of denim. Also, love the bright compliment the white shorts bring to the outfit.
If you have not been shopping via Amazon for fashion items, well let me change your life and suggest that you start doing so immediately. Amazon is the best. Not only do the benefits of Prime provide quick and free shipping, but the fashion front on Amazon is simply put, overwhelming in the best way possible!
This romper a classic linen, white romper, (Size down, runs a little big) would be absolutely adorable with a red or blue neck scarf for the 4th of July!
I absolutely love wearing rompers and stripes. Fortunately, this 4th of July both can be achieved. Featuring this adorable off-the-shoulder sleeved blue and white striped romper. And while the bottom looks more like a dress, it is actually more skort-ish as there are shorts underneath – WIN!
Also, thought I would be bold and contrast the blue and white romper with black sandals. And to be honest, I am kinda glad that I did. Hey, maybe it will start a new trend, and if so credit your girl #gracefulandfree.
And of course, my most commonly worn piece of my entire wardrobe, my Favlux chambray top (which can be worn in SO many ways)
Seriously this piece is exceptional. I bought it at a local boutique and haven’t been able to find the exact one online anywhere, but if I do you will be the first to hear about it, I can assure you!
Taking it back to the 90s here. Also, I get told ALL the time I look way way younger than I actually am, and I am not helping myself out at all with this, especially wearing Keds and a white bow scrunchie, thanks to ShopAndi.
Where would I be without Target…. well, obviously with a lot more money in my checking account. One thing that I do know is that Target has absolutely crushed the shoe category. Super cute, very comfortable, and VERY affordable. Linking similar options to the shoes shown in this Fourth of July outfit inspiration guide.
Another super similar outfit that I absolutely adore. This is from a sweet boutique in my town and I LOVE supporting the local businesses and shops. And just continuing with my obsession with blue and white striped things.
While I don’t have the links to this specific romper, here are two others that are also really great priced!!
Okay this is funny. Well, maybe funny isn’t the correct word, however I had absolutely no idea that I had so many blue & white striped outfits in this post until I just added the rest of the photos. So, brb as I go edit the title of this post.
Jokes. Anyways. Blue and white stripes AGAIN. This time featuring the sweetest two piece set. My first two piece set ever worn that shows skin and that was not a swimsuit. Feeling rebellious. I actually LOVE this set.
Funny story (for real funny this time) I am pretty sure that this top is actually supposed to be worn the other way (There is a really cute bow in the back, but it basically provides zero coverage, so I flipped it around) and really love the fit in wearing it this way, instead! So make your own rules people, at least in the fashion world.
So there you have my inspiration for sweet somethings of a Fourth of July Outfit. Now on to the sprinkles… the accessories
Let’s talk the fun stuff. The accessories. The patriotic earrings, bandanas and scarfs. All the fun and all the Red, White, & Blue.
