Life is busy and chaotic. Don’t forget exhausting. I know firsthand how easy it can be in a moment of free time to want to retreat into the calm and the quiet. To escape with a lovely book, binge watch the latest series, or just simply be happy hanging out with yourself. At least, the introvert in me loves to do those things. However, I was recently reminded just how powerful it is and important it is for my heart to connect with community. I was reminded the true power in spending intentional and quality time with friends.
Therefore, in the season of celebrating all things love and friendship, I have ideas for you on how to put together and plan your perfect girls’ night in. Think fun and simple ways to set aside time and celebrate the happy things with your best girlfriends. In order to feel joy and love while connecting with your best girls, I have FIVE ideas for you to plan the perfect girls night in!
The very first idea for girls night in involves a little encouragement and words of affirmation. Take time to let your girlfriends know exactly what they mean to you. Nothing can set the tone of a gathering like affirming and encouraging. Seriously, if you have not done this before, it is a sure way to boost immediate joy! You can do this through having little index cards and markers, or fun stationary cards. Have one with each friend’s name written on it. And allow the girls to take turns writing encouraging words and affirming statements to each other on the card. This truly is an incredible way to empower, appreciate, and love on one another all the same!
Another great girls’ night in ideas is to create flower arrangements with Trader Joe’s flowers. One of my favorite things to do is to go to Trader Joe’s and buy an assortment of flowers (if you didn’t know, Trader Joe’s flowers are amazing, beautiful, and such a great price!) I love to take my Trader Joe’s flowers and create a variety of different floral arrangements through various different vases, jars, glasses and arrange them as one big centerpiece on my kitchen table. Not only do the flowers smell incredible, but they also look fantastic. Therefore, a perfect girls night in idea is to create Trader Joe’s flower arrangements and spread them out throughout your space. This will absolutely elevate the environment and set the tone for your ultimate girls night!
Of course, a girls night in wouldn’t be complete without yummy things to eat. Therefore, in your ideas for girls night, be sure to include a yummy spread. Of course, the best way to do this is to simply have everyone bring their favorite salty or sweet to share! I always love the recipes at Half Baked Harvest. A really simple idea is to take a couple of packages of M&M’s or Hershey kisses, or starbursts and place them in small little bowls throughout food spread. You can never go wrong there! So be sure to “perfect” your girls night in with delicious snacks and treats to eat.
Of course, the perfect girls night in wouldn’t be complete without something tasty to drink. Therefore, a really great idea for girls night is to bring in a mobile beverage cart. Seriously, what better way than to have your own beverages customized to you and ready to be dispensed. This is such a fun way to elevate any social gathering and a perfect girls night in idea.
Local to Atlanta, Georgia, Tippy Tap Co. is a mobile bar service in Atlanta, that brings the entertainment and party directly to you and your event. Featuring six taps ready to dispense your beverage of choice and servers, you can be sure your next girls night is impeccable. In addition, the variety of packages include various different decor and floral elements to truly make a statement and elevate any event. Can you even imagine the joy and fun Tippy Tap Co. would bring to your next girls night in. I mean, the ideas only keep growing with the creativity and aesthetic of this mobile beverage cart! Make your next girls night in exceptional with Tippy Tap Co.
Finally, the fifth idea for your next girls night in includes having some exceptional games to play. What better way than to laugh and indulge in some fun than a little friendly competition. My personal favorite is the dice game of Bunco. Now this requires groupings of four to pair (ideally three groups of four) but you can have as many as you want. If you haven’t ever played Bunco before you are missing out. Plus, everyone can bring $5 to pull into the draw and you may even walk away with a little cash prize.
Now if a competitive game of dice rolling isn’t your thing, Taboo, or Fishbowl are also great options. Or you could really bring it back with some iconic Dance Dance Revolution. Yes, can you imagine all the fun that would be had at a girls night! Therefore, as you plan out your perfect girls’ night in, be sure to utilize these great girls night in ideas!
Okay, now who else is ready to plan the perfect girls night in? I know I am. Seriously, looking through my calendar and figuring out when this can happen. Because we all need time to spend with our girlfriends, bonding over quality conversation, laughs, yummy food, tasty drinks, and incredible company! I hope these girls night in ideas inspired you to plan your own girls night and connect with some of your favorite people.
