gracefulandfree – Holiday Gift Guide – Teacher Edition

Share

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays. Wait… can I say that now because it is only November. But ya know what I am determined for the first year ever to be prepared and on top of my life… HA just kidding, but I am going to do my best to be sure to have my Christmas gifts all sorted out, wrapped and ready to go before Christmas Eve. Because guess what (last year I was totally that girl wrapping finalizing gifts and wrapping presents hours before we left on our Christmas festivities. But not this year, this year I am so determined to be ahead of the game and FOR YOU to also be ahead of the game. So introducing to you right away, your perfect Teacher Gift Guide. The one place to shop for all things teacher this holiday season.

I have been working away over here at gracefulandfree trying to provide you a simple AND easy way to get all of your holiday shopping done. Now, I know EVERY BLOGGER is doing their thing right now putting together their own list providing you with an overwhelming amount of things to look at and do. However, my heart is to just help you out and to make gift giving easy and fun. So this will be the first of MANY gift guides that will appear on gracefulandfree over the next week or so. So if you don’t want to miss out be sure to follow me on Instagram, LiketoKnow.it, and subscribe to the blog to be sure you are not missing all of the fun. So lets get this thing started! Introducing, your holiday gift guide for the teachers in your life!

A Gracefulandfree Holiday Gift Guide

Teacher Edition.

Now, don’t mind me as I start the first gift guide centered around myself, HA.. but I mean we got to love all our teachers out there. Not trying to speak to the choir, but if ya ever wanted to really know what it was like to have a to-do list that never ends, no time to get anything done, and hundreds of people relying on you for various different needs, well then that is teaching (and only really half of it..) don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love teaching and I feel like I truly thrive in the classroom with my students, but it sure is A LOT of work and definitely not for the faint of heart. So for all of your teacher friends or your children’s teachers, here is a great way to be sure to bless them this holiday.

*Disclaimer ~ Your girl is a teacher. Priority number one, keeper of all my time. And as a teacher for six years, I can be that honest voice for you about what to truly get the teachers in your lives!!

A Gift Guide for Teachers

1. Notepads, and notepads, and notepads.

Let me fill ya in on a little secret, a teacher can never have too many notepads, Especially when they are adorable full of fun colors and sweet designs. Plus it is a great way to help us feel like we are being productive and accomplishing big things, by writing it down on a list of course. And the cuter, the better!

2. Pens. (the nice ones)

So, a teacher lives and breathes pens. And I am not talking the basic kinds. I am talking the happy, amazing Papermate Gel Flare Ink Pens. The ones that just cultivate joy upon every stroke of the hand. These pens are the best. And for those who have never set foot in the classroom, then you probably have no idea just how much money the teacher spends on footing the bill for the entire teaching expense and it can definitely be expensive. So, by far, the best gifts to receive are absolutely pens and all things school supplies, these gifts are very much appreciated, I can promise you that! 🙂

3. COFFEE MUGS.

Of course, this shouldn’t be obvious. But simply gifting the teacher’s in your lives with a coffee mug truly is a statement of I appreciate ya. Now, let me say, be very intentional in the coffee cup of purchase. Make sure it is cute and goes beyond the “best teacher” rhetoric. Think Anthropology here!

4. MINI-KEURIG COFFEE MAKER.

I was gifted this last year for Christmas and it is just the absolute best gift! So if ya really want to share some love and say thank you then skip the coffee mug and go straight for the coffee maker. But truthfully, this guy is great and is perfect for a teacher’s desk as it makes a perfect single cup that can then be refilled and remade over and over again throughout the day.

Plus, my students love when I use it cause it ushers in the sweetest aroma of coffee all throughout the classroom and it is simply the best!

5. CANDLES. (SOY-BASED WITH ESSENTIAL OILS OF COURSE)

Now, obviously the candle can’t be used in the classroom, but it sure can be brought home and enjoyed in the after hours. Be sure when you are gifting candles that you are finding the candles that are made without the synthetic toxins & fragrances because those are just not good for ya.

6. ESSENTIAL OILS ROLL-ON STRESS AWAY

Because we know all teachers need to keep the stress away, and with this Young Living roll-on, the stress will most definitely be gone. This is one of my MOST favorite Young Living products that every teacher in your life would most definitely enjoy.

Curious to learn more about Essential Oils, check out here!!  Or, click here to order your roll-on!

7. PLANNER.

Who would  a teacher be without a planner, heck who would we all be. Seriously, I find so much joy in writing down to-do lists and goal lists and every other kind of a list, and what better way to love on your favorite teachers in your life by making them happy cry with a perfect planner. Whether it is Erin Condren, Kate Spade, Lilly Pulitzer or your personalized design from May Designs, let your teachers in your life really know you think of them!

Recently, I have become a big fan of all things Cultivate What Matters! Their 2020 Powersheets are AMAZING and would make any teacher’s heart on fire!!

8. PENCIL POUCH.

I know, I know this appears to be an item off a school supply list for a elementary school kid, BUT this teacher would be lost without her own tote for her collection of pens and markers. Seriously, as I am typing this list right now my pencil pouch is sitting to my right, HA so most definitely a favorite must-have and a DREAM for those who spend so much time planning and grading with all of the best pens in the world.

9. INSPIRATION BOOK & BOOKS

As a teacher, most of my time is devoted to planning, prepping, responding to e-mails, and grading. So when I can finally find a moment of true rest within myself. Bless a teacher with a book, a meditation journal, a book of inspiration. And even write a note sharing the love as to why this was a gift!

I remember a sweet story of giving a book from my personal collection to a student to read, and that student finally returned the book a couple months later and when I opened the book, she had written the sweetest note, and it is something I still treasure!

10. TUMBLER.

Every single teacher (well most of us) can’t leave the house in the morning without our coffee tumbler filled. And it makes for an even better morning when the coffee is housed in a cute and trendy tumbler! Yes, splurge on this and maybe even fill the tumbler with a Starbucks gift card as an additional thank you! Cause one thing I am sure that all teachers have in common, their reliance and dependence of caffeine!

11. GIFTCARDS

I know this seems to be overshadowed, but I can assure you a gift card to Target, OR a spa, OR a restaurant that can then be used for this teacher and their significant other is most definitely appreciated. Also, I will never say NO to a Starbucks gift card, as my morning commute includes a trip to Starbucks at least once a week!

Well friends, there you have it! Your teacher gift guide brought to you by, well, a teacher. A real one! I hope you find this list helpful as I truly spent time curating it from teacher to you!

I hope your holiday shopping is a breeze and come back to GRACEFULANDFREE all week long for additional gift guides!
