Part TWO of this gift-giving guide for intentional gift ideas focuses in on FIVE additional gift ideas to help you create your next favorite gift for every single person on your shopping list. This list is created to bless your heart as you give a gift that truly sparks joy and speaks life. Gift-giving should not be stressful, instead it should be an opportunity to pour love and appreciation to the people who mean the most in our life. Therefore, five intentional gift ideas to help you and your shopping this holiday season.
The very first intentional gift idea for the holiday season is a gift that focuses on quality time. Yes, focus on giving a gift that allows for time to be spent well. Time that can be spent together. Focus on a gift that creates a special moment of time to be spent together, a time that can be treasured. This can look like the gift of a trip, or a nice day-long adventure. Or this can look like a fun, exciting outing, or maybe a concert.
Focus on a gift that prioritizes spending quality time together doing something that you love, something that is exciting. More than anything, just doing something together. Investing in your person and spending quality time with them throughout the holiday season. Now, this gift for time can be something immediate following the holidays, or it can be something for later on in the year. Either way, give a gift that focused on quality time over this holiday season.
The second intentional gift idea is to give a gift that truly sparks joy! Give a gift that gives birth to joy. Is there something that truly lights up someone’s heart? Is there a gift you can give that will reignite imagination and make part of their heart feel fully alive again? Give them a gift that helps spark that joy. Focus on what your person truly loves to do. Where do they thrive – give them a gift to support that. Do they love to read? Do they love to play games? Is their a particular moment spent that they are obsessed with?
Whatever it is – what gives them joy! Personally, a really amazing journal and quality pens are two of my most favorite things. Anytime I receive them in gift format, I am so pumped up and excited. When you give a gift that sparks joy, you are giving birth to creativity and so much more! Therefore, give a gift that sparks joy this holiday season!
For your third intentional gift idea, give a gift that uses words. This is GOOD. Use and create, or give a gift that uses words to build up, to encourage and to inspire. Write a note, a letter, or a card. Give a journal or notebook with a hand-written dedication. Or a book that you have written a note in as a “think of me” when! Use your words to truly encourage this holiday season. Give a gift of a really great planner, and write out encouragement throughout the year. Or a journal, where you write in encouraging notes throughout the way. This way, they can be encouraged all year long.
Another great way to use the power of words on a gift is to personalize a meaningful word on jewelry, or on a keychain. When you give a gift that uses the power of words, you are communicating to your person that they matter, that they are significant and that you believe in them.
Another intentional gift idea to add to your list is a gift that encourages self-care! A gift that places the priority on taking care of you. Think of this as a a gift that encourages someone to spend quality moments focusing on themself. Think about the person you are gifting a gift for and think about what things truly allow this person to reset. What allows them to dig deep and feel grounded again?
Give a gift that supports that. Maybe this looks like a gift card for a spa day. Or maybe a legit water bottle to focus on proper and quality hydration. Maybe this looks like a at-home, self-care kit withv soaps, candles, and soaking baths. Whatever it is, give a gift that truly creates a moment for taking care of you! When you can gift a person that gives even more to them, you know that you have succeeded!
Finally, the fifth intentional gift idea is to give a gift that gives back. Focus on giving a gift that gives back and pours into the community around you. Maybe make a donation in someone’s honor. Or donate time in a service or a field that means something to someone. Make a purchase from a company that gives back and does something purposeful with their revenue. Take time this holiday season to give a gift that can pour into the world around you and invest right back into the community that you live in and walk in daily.
