Many of us have been there, watching the calendar close in on Christmas, and realizing all the things left to still buy. Gift-giving can be a challenge, which is exactly why I have put together this list for you, your meaningful gift-giving list for the holidays. Forget the last-minute shopping, or the delayed shipping, or lack of ideas or not having enough time to follow through with your gift ideas for the holidays. HERE is a list of all that you need to support you and your gift giving this holiday season.
To help you plan out and prepare your gift ideas, I am sharing with you FIVE meaningful and intentional gift ideas for everyone on your list. Now, my intention is to truly allow holiday gifting to be easy, and fun, and exciting. That hopefully this list can spark inspiration and make the holidays a little less stressful.
The very first gift idea on the meaningful gift giving list this holiday season is a gift that inspires a dream. Purchase, buy, create a gift for somebody that helps them fully walk in line with their calling in life. To allow them to be fully who they are in their passions. Think of a gift that truly supports someone else – that gives them a sense of direction in pursuing their dreams. Is there something that they want to do or learn? Get them a gift that helps them truly walk in the direction that they want to go.
Maybe a book that helps them in the write direction, or a planner or a journal that is specific to working on that dream or goal. Or maybe it is an online course or framework that can truly support them in their dreams. Through gifting a gift that inspires a dream, you are saying that I believe in you and I support you. And you show your excitement for watching them get to that place of making their dream come true. So, this holiday season, give a gift that inspires a dream.
Number two on your meaningful gift giving list, give a gift that recreates a special memory. Take time to create a gift that celebrates a special moment or memory. Spend the time to document the sweet, intentional moments and giving that as a gift. Create a photo book or a scrapbook of a special moment, or a special family trip. Document sweet moments from the year. Now, if scrapbooking is not your thing, there are SO many amazing options with online photo books. Personally, I love Chatbooks. You can use an app to easily upload your photos to turn into a photo book to make an incredible, intentional gift.
Another idea is to give a gift of a photography session for a new family, or a new mom. Or anyone living out a super important stage of life, give a gift to allow them to truly press pause, and stay present in that moment, through a photography session. If you are local to the North Atlanta area, I strongly recommend Breana Lynn Photography, as well as Whistling Poppy. Two amazing photographers that will absolutely create something special.
Number three on our meaningful gift giving list, ideas for thoughtful gift ideas for the people in your life is customized and personalized jewelry. This is a gift that is so incredibly touching, intimate, and personal. Take a precious moment and document on a precious jewelry piece. Now, my most favorite hand stamped jewelry company is my friend Lindsey’s Stamped and Finch. Gift jewelry that is meaningful, and jewelry that has a purpose. Customized your favorite gold or silver necklace, or bracelet with a special date, anniversary, initial or encourage with a word of the year on a bracelet or necklace for the next year. So many incredible and oh so thoughtful gift ideas when you customize and personalize jewelry this holiday season to allow you to truly spark a dream and give life to a person.
Another incredibly meaningful gift idea is a gift to remember a special place. Is there a special family home or vacation place. Or a special place or memory holder that means an incredible much to you and your family. Have that place drawn or painted via watercolor or a portrait. Frame it and gift it to a person. Did someone recently move or sell their house or a place that is just a special place. This is such a great gift idea. Personally, after my grandfather moved out of his lake house, and our entire family had to say goodbye of an integral piece of our childhood and family memories, I had a watercolor of the lake house created, with the address, and gifted that to my entire family. To this day, this is one of my most favorite gifts ever given!
Finally, number five on our list of meaningful gift ideas for everyone on your list – monogram with a purpose. You can make a really sweet monogrammed gift with a purpose. Whether this is a gift for a teacher, or creating a journal, notepad, tumbler, coffee mug with a logo of your friend’s business. My favorite company that can easily do this is May Designs. So many other great options on Etsy as well. Through monogramming a special item, it is a sweet token of appreciation and support for those in your life.
