Life has felt more challenging and more stretching and more full of tests than anything lately. I have found myself so much lately, constantly reflecting and thinking and trying to think bigger picture, especially when I’m stuck in a really hard moment.
Taking the time to think through and fast forward what things will feel like next month, next year. What am I going to feel in this next stage of life? Once this season is… gone. What are the things that I’m going to feel? I really try hard, and it’s not always a win, trust me, but I really try to change my perspective even within the really hard and difficult situations to focus on gratitude. To focus on joy and to allow those two things to hold me accountable and keep me moving forward.
I want to open up an invitation because I know how difficult it can be to feel the hard things of life and to feel the uncertainty and to feel insecure. So many of us are trying so hard throughout the day to balance it all, to try to fit everything into our schedule. We are desperately trying to show up as a version we feel like we can be proud of, yet are swarmed with distractions every single place we look. Never accomplishing the new goals we have set for ourself and feeling frustrated in the process.
And it can be difficult, and challenging. As well as stretching. Sometimes we just need someone to understand and to someone see us fully as we are. Including all our desires, dreams, everything, and say, hey, you can do this. You absolutely can do what it is you are trying to do. I see you and I feel you. You can find that motivation to live the life you’ve been dreaming of and I would love so much to help you get there.
I would love to sit with you for a one on one, hour long coaching call for us to go through my mindset method together. Together, we will create a plan to help you go from insecure too confident. So that way your hard days can feel a little bit better and you can find a little more sense of purpose as you work to live the life you’ve always been dreaming of living.
Which is exactly what we have here with this October monthly to-do list in order to live your most intentional life this month. This intentional to-do list is focused on specific intentions for the month to allow you to stand strong and to stand in confidence in order for you to live your best life. So that you don’t have to feel a victim to the stress, nor feel side swept by burden and responsibility, and instead you can feel confident as who you are and who you were created to be.
Now is the perfect time to truly live as the best version of yourself. Therefore, sharing a list of six simple things to add to your monthly to-do list. Six easy tasks that you can focus on this month to really allow you to live as your best self. Some of these tasks are super simple. While, some of them are more deep thought provoking.
I truly believe that this list is going to help you accomplish that next step to get to where you hope to go. Through this list of six things to do for your October intentional to-do list, you will feel empowered to take a small step and set the priorities towards living the life you have always imagined living. Throughout all of these, I hope you feel encouraged and excited and ready to just take on this month. To find and feel joy in every little way possible.
The very first thing to add on your October intentional to-do list is to envision your dream life. Now is the perfect time to think through the important questions. What would make you the happiest? What would bring you the most joy? Additionally, what would bring you the most fulfillment. During your weekly review, or planning sessions, take time to think about what is it that you truly desire? Write it out. Let it live on paper. Specifically write it out within your paper planner. Spend that time really thinking through and reflecting on, how do I want my days to be spent?
Specifically, how do I want to spend my time on any given day of the week. How do I want to feel at the end of the day? Furthermore, how do I want to feel when I wake up every single day. What is it that I want to focus my moments and my minutes on? Focus on specific personal goals that you have. We think so often and hold our thoughts so close to our heads. However, it can be exciting and truly empowering to just go for it and to think, what if? What if that someday can be today?
Therefore, in order to live your most intentional life this month, actually take the time to write out your dream life. Write it out and believe it’s possible. Believe that it is possible to achieve the larger goals that you have for yourself. Fully believing that an intentional lifestyle is possible for you.
The second important task to include on your October intentional to-do list is to make a cozy and warm fall beverage from the comfort of your own kitchen. When you are able to take the time to slow down the moments and actually enjoy a delicious beverage in the comfort of your home and in your kitchen.
This month is such a good time to slow things down and be more present within our home. Therefore, when you take the time, and enjoy the little moments within your home, it allows you to slow things down. It allows you to focus on moments of gratefulness. When you take the time to start your work day a little earlier and find the comfort within your own home, it allows you to have a slower start to your day. More slower moments to catch your breath throughout the hustle and the chaos at the end of the day.
While this is fun and there’s so many amazing fall seasonal syrups and flavors that you can add into your coffee or your tea or whatever it is you like to go to. This also allows you a moment to just pause and to breathe. This creates a great time to connect and to not feel rushed. To not feel like you need to go and go, but instead just be present and calm in that moment. Therefore, the second thing to put on your October monthly to-do list is to make two a cozy warm fall beverage from the comfort of your own kitchen.
Third on your monthly to-do list for intentional living this October is to make your own fall floral bouquet and tablescape. There’s something so fun and exciting about taking time to stroll through Trader Joe’s, of course if you are lucky enough to have one near you, and pick up a few fall florals.
The flower section at Trader Joe’s is superb and is such an easy way to really elevate the atmosphere within your home. Therefore in order to really enjoy a happy October and such a beautiful time of year, add a few fun little fall decorations within your home. Specifically, create your own little sense of fall home, right in a place where you interact throughout the day.
Therefore, create a beautiful, yet simple fall floral bouquet and fall table scape within your kitchen to allow yourself to feel all the happy fall things and create a sense of home. This is such a good idea to create a comforting and inviting atmosphere within your home this fall. Such a great way to stay in tune with the seasons and allow yourself to find little ways to feel more connected and excited to be in your home. Therefore, allow yourself a chance to do that this month.
It does not have to be crazy, nor does it have to be grand. It can truly be simple. Go ahead and add in your favorite florals, and add in some pumpkins, and a few little fall decorations, and make it as your own. This is such an easy way to incorporate more seasonal bliss this October.
The fourth important task to add to your October intentional to-do list is to create a new routine for something that you are yearning for. Take time to think through what it is that you are desiring. Take a moment and focus in on the bigger picture. What is it that you truly want? What is it that you deeply desire? Are you wanting more moments of quiet? More cozy moments?
Maybe the important thing to you right now is more organization. Or less clutter and less chaos. Or maybe you are searching for more time within your day. More rest? As you sit with your paper planner and work through your weekly planning, mapping out your daily to-do list. Specifically think through and reflect on what is it that your heart is crying out for?

Spend more time with the people that you love. Specifically, the people that fill you up with joy, hope and laughter.
Therefore, spend time this month planning fun, social gatherings. October is a great time for spending quality time with the people who matter the most. Maybe it’s just a family dinner or a game night or movie night. Or maybe this looks like fun things that you do outside as a family. Leave the comfort zone, head fully into your zone of discomfort, and watch and be amazed at all the growth that happens. In order to actually accomplish your personal goals and achieve success in life, it is so important to fully take that step out of your comfort zone.
