One of the major passions in my heart that was part of the reason in pursuing this blog, gracefulandfree is to help others engage in a lifestyle that is an intentional lifestyle living in freedom and grace. A large part of my heart desires to communicate this lifestyle through educating others in areas where they desire to see more and feel more free, gracefully so. For some this may look like freedom in their hearts, within their families, inside the walls of their homes, but I want to constantly communicate joy and the hope that this freedom is gracefully yours.
Personally, for me, essential oils have opened up doors in my heart and mind that have truly revived areas of my soul and I hope and pray that so many more people can experience this exact same transformation.
As a teacher, I am constantly learning, constantly learning from my students, from my colleagues, and from resources that are ever-changing. I love to learn, I love to read, in fact I genuinely am thrilled to learn new things and I always find that as another reason to purchase a new notebook and pens and as I do, I thoroughly enjoy the process (probably a little too much) So naturally, as I began to pursue living a life toxin-free, I have dived head first into another world of educating myself, one that I am truly loving and can’t wait to continue to pursue and share more along the way.
So this post is one that I have been very excited about for a long time coming and I am thrilled to be putting together a list of my favorite oily accessories. From carrier oils, to roller bottles, to resource books and other accessories, I am so excited to take you through this list and hope that you can find encouragement along the way.
A few of my favorite resource books for understanding the use of oils and incorporating them into your everyday life for balancing health and wellness include
Carrier oils are great for diluting essential oils and applying them on yourself AND especially helpful when applying them on children. Additionally, carrier oils are great for making your own roll-ons which are one of my personal favorites because you can get super creative and make specific essential oils for different needs like focus, relief, sleep, peace, and so much more. I will be sharing more of my favorite oil roll-on recipes later in the next couple of weeks so please stay tuned (or just subscribe so you know exactly when that is ready).
Why Carrier Oils? Well, essential oils specifically Young Living’s 100% pure, therapeutic grade oils are very highly concentrated therefore for some oils the best form of application is to apply with a carrier oil. It also is best to be sure that when you select a carrier oil that you choose one that is organic and less-refined. Common carrier oils include almond oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, olive oil, sunflower seed oil and V-6 vegetable oil complex.
Personal Choice ~~~ My absolute favorite carrier oil is fractionated Coconut Oil due to the longer shelf life, the fact that it absorbs well on the skin and contains high essential fatty acids.
If you are curious about the use of carrier oils and MORE you can learn more HERE.
Additionally, for all those who join my team by purchasing the Premium Starter Kit AND join Essential Rewards I will gift you a bottle of fractionated coconut oil as well!
Fractionated Coconut Oil.
For those beginning your oil journey or those more experience you may come to find out the joys of having your own (glass) spray bottles & roller bottles in order to make your own home recipes to extend the dollar of your essential oils. From making cleaners to linen sprays to personal roller blends the options are overwhelmingly fun.
Additionally, you can order really cute labels for the roller blends that take your essential oils to a whole new level. Seriously hello cuteness!
