Sometimes life has a way of beating us down, running us over, and turning a steady rain into a thunderstorm. And if I am being brutally honest, last year was a very challenging year for me, both mentally and emotionally. For someone who is known for being upbeat and positive, I felt as if the smiles and happy thoughts were fake. All of this eventually led to a breaking point ~ a moment of reaching my threshold to discover that who I had been lately, wasn’t who I had been before, and wasn’t who I was going to be. For me, essential oils have been a large part of my story in bringing me back to who I know I was born, created, and destined to be. I’ll save more of this story for later, but all I am really trying to say is…
when life gives you lemons… turn to essential oils…
One of the purposes I had in the vision behind this blog was to educate, encourage & support others in their interest, use & passion for using essential oils in their every day lives. I am sure if you asked most people if they wanted to live a healthier, happier, life style where they experienced more joy, more peace, & more comfort, everyone would answer an enthusiastic yes! And for me, essential oils has provided just this.
Freedom. Freedom to be the me, the me that the Lord created me to be. And for that I am extremely thankful.
So, I am going to be doing a weekly blog series focusing on one Young Living essential oil a week ~ highlighting the wonderful benefits & many uses of using that particular oil. For all my oil users out there, I would love to hear additional ways you use the oil & for all those eager to learn more, please message me so we can talk more! I would love more than anything to help you be apart of the process of becoming the optimal you. I often rally my students to “Be the best possible versions of themselves” and I truly believe that essential oils does just that. Allows for and creates a life of authenticity and purity. Freedom at its finest.
So on that note… introducing this week’s featured essential oil….LEMON! ~ wonderful, tangy, citrusy, LEMON!
Many are probably familiar with the common belief/trend circulating cyberspace advocating for the use of adding lemon to water to be a healthy way to start the day. Lemon in water is believed to support liver health and aid in digestion. However, lemons as well as store-bought lemon juice can be very acidic and damaging to teeth. Fortunately, Young Living’s Lemon oils (regular & vitality line) are completely pure and acid-free, therefore no damage to your teeth. (WIN!!!)
Have additional favorite uses for lemon? Comment and please let me know!!
When life gives you lemons, well, use LEMON!
