let me be completely honest… it’s mostly gals who follow along here for gracefulandfree, so I thought if my followers were anything like me… that means that Valentine’s Day is four days away and I have got absolutely NOTHING for my main man. So I thought what better way than to kick start this week of love, with a Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for all the special men in your life (last minute edition).
Thankfully, the list that I have put together are all things that are fairly inexpensive AND that can arrive to your door in plenty of time before Thursday’s festivities.
Not sure about you, but my guy is the absolute hardest worker there is. I swear it feels like his busy season at work is year long and when he is not at work he is either tackling the next home project, paying bills OR doing something from the long list that needs to be completed. He is truly the BEST and I want to be sure that I can gift him rest and in this case JOGGERS. Let me TELL YA… there is nothing I think cuter, than a MAN in joggers! And if you don’t know what I am talking about, well then you may just want to go ahead and get your beau a pair for this Valentine’s Day. You are welcome!
I know, it’s always us women rushing to get the latest and greatest self-care items, however… it is of equally importance for our men in our lives to be sure they are taking care of their best selves. So don’t think for a moment that you can’t get your honey some fresh body wash, beard scrubs & face wash… cause believe me… we all know that if left to do this for themselves, they would come home with the cheap store-bought brand and their skin MOST DEFINITELY deserves better than that.
I don’t know about you, but I love giving gifts that can INSPIRE. There is nothing better than providing your babe with a journal or book to kick start their dreams into reality. I love being able to stand beside my man and support all the dreams and desires of his heart, and helping bring them right to gear is the best place to start.
WOAH.. you are thinking “she went there” but let’s be real if I have learned anything over the last five-and-a-half years of marriage… it’s that you absolutely have to place a priority over the intimate parts of your marriage. And Valentine’s Day is a great time to re-focus and shift those priorities to the proper placement they deserve.
I actually have the sweetest memory of my Mimi & Granddad. My Mimi as some of my followers might remember, most recently passed away.. and I have the sweetest memory of spending the weekend with them, Justin and I. And after dinner one night they were sharing secrets of marriage with us and my Granddad revealed that every year for Valentine’s Day.. Mimi gifted him a new pair of boxers. And when he said this he blushed with the biggest smile on his face. And that was almost 60 full years of one heck of a marriage my friends. So you can bet, I am going to be starting this tradition this year, all in honor and memory of my sweet, sweet Mimi.
Why not celebrate in style with a token of wanderlust. Get your man some sweet travel bags (rather it’s a small toiletries bag OR weekender OR backpack. But get a gift to set the tone in the direction of wander and adventure. There is nothing more like spending quality time with your favorite person while exploring a new city or outdoor escape.
Well friends. There ya have it. A quick AND easy last minute Valentine’s Day gift guide for the men in your life. Hopefully this helps make a week of cramming, a little more manageable.
