Truth be told, we are all in need of a little inspiration. Our hearts could absolutely use a pep talk to feel empowered and inspired. Therefore, in order to speak life to your heart and soul, I am bringing you encouraging words to truly uplift and inspire you. Through sharing the FIVE things you need to hear right now, my hope is for you to feel encouraged and inspired. In order to go about your day feeling like you can accomplish the things you have set out to accomplish, all while feeling immense joy and peace in your life!
I really want to speak to you in the hustle and in the chaos of real life. To take a moment and truly encourage you. So that, no matter what kind of difficult times you may be facing or all the big feelings you are feeling, that you can be encouraged. Encouragement from one human being to another. To share a message of FIVE things you need to hear right now.
With the complete hope of bringing you a few encouraging words. In order to speak to your heart. Additionally, to be a voice that encourages you to keep on keeping on and to feel good about yourself. No matter what kind of season of life you’re currently walking through. That you would truly feel encouraged to live your best life.
Life can be overwhelming, and full of so much doubt, insecurity and fear. As much pep as I try to share, the whole purpose of The Best Day Podcast, I also equally find it important to recognize the real and raw. To be fully present, even in the hard time. Which is why it is so important to cling to hope. To allow words of encouragement to truly inspire and empower you to go after what you have always dreamed of and live your best life. The most important thing here is to understand that you matter. That your words matter. And that the passions in your heart matter.
It can be so easy to look to all the other voices, people’s comments on social media, everything in the news and feel discouraged. The real and raw moments of everyday, real life. However, allow this moment to be a time for hope. The only thing needed to restore hope and faith in your heart, knowing that there will be a better day. And that the pain from last year, can actually subside. Cling to these encouraging words as a token of inspiration. Five specific encouraging words that your heart needs right this instant, in order to truly feel empowered and inspired to live your best life, every single day!
The very first encouraging word that you need to hear right now is you are doing a great job. Please, let me tell you this, you are doing a great job. In fact, you are doing a fantastic job. The reality is that you are doing ALL the things. You’re balancing oh so much. Trying to handle yourself, your family, the side hustle you desperately want to grow. All while trying to take care of yourself and pour into the world around you at the same time.That’s amazing. You’re doing a fantastic job.
The people in your life, they love you. They absolutely adore you, and are so thankful for all that you do because you are their person and you are here for them. Please know that you are doing a great job. Even in the moments that you feel like you are giving it 50%, or just 20%. Know that in THOSE moments, no matter what level that you are showing up in those moments, you are still doing a great job. The real problem that so many of us face is that we don’t give ourselves nearly enough credit that we deserve. So that’s the very first thing and word of encouragement that you need right now. To know that you are doing a great job.
The second encouraging word that you need to know right now is that the season you are currently in won’t last forever. The season you are currently in and your circumstances that you’re currently dealing with, they are not going to last forever. Your bad day, or difficult situation, will not last forever. Furthermore, the hard things won’t always feel so difficult. Now, that doesn’t mean this season isn’t hard. Nor, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t extreme challenges and stresses. It just means that this won’t last forever. This is the only way to actually muster up the strength to endure the difficult situation. To know that this current season, will not last forever.
Therefore, feel encouraged by knowing that it is not always going to be this way. Now that the hard time will pass. That the level of exhaustion that you’re feeling. Or how you’re feeling depleted and overworked and pulled into so many different directions and feeling a little lost. That’s not always going to be this way. That season is not always going to be here. There will be a better day. There will be things to look forward to that will feel more clear and will feel more joyful, and that what you are currently walking in is not going to be this way forever.
And when you know that and when you can realize that, it makes things a little easier. It makes the hard days a little bit more bearable by knowing that it’s not always going to be like this. Therefore, take a deep breath and focus inward. Commit to doing the best that you can right now, in the current season that you are in. Because now is the right moment, even as messy as it can be to try to find a sense of peace and to try to be present. To focus on being content in my life, in the moment, with the people that I’m doing life with.
Number three, the third encouraging word you need to hear right now is, your failure does not define you. The things that you have done that have not worked out, or the difficult times in your life where you have messed up. The moments where you crossed a line that you shouldn’t have crossed, that failure doesn’t define you!
You probably think it does. Most likely, you are holding onto a lot of judgment and a lot of shame. Absorbed in the “should have, could have, would’ve” feelings and thoughts, and you need to know that your failure does not define you at all. That the bad things do not become your identity. Instead, how you recover and how you think of yourself now. The long way that you have come. Think about how you have embraced your faults and imperfections. It’s this breakthrough that’s what defines you. It’s through the different way you approach life after working through the hard time and difficult situation.
More specifically, it is how you have grown and how you have overcome. How you have walked through the messy and still stand strong, that’s what defines you. Your failure doesn’t define you. Therefore, the next time you find yourself feeling discouraged on all the ways you feel like you have fallen short. Please know, the difficult times and the hard time doesn’t define you, but they absolutely refine you. They give you the specific tools that you need in order to fully step into the you that you are, and need to live your best life every single day!
Number four, the fourth encouraging word to hear right now is, your greatest victory will come once you step outside of your comfort zone. One more time, your greatest victory will come once you step outside your comfort zone. Your comfort zone can be safe, it can feel cozy, and warm. It’s a good place living in your comfort zone, but there’s more out there.
When you can take that step and take that leap and take that push or that very small, hesitant, big toe, move forward to get out of the comfort and walk a little bit more into what is uncomfortable. There’s really good, new things over there and it can be hard and it can be scary, but it’s because it’s hard and it’s scary that the victory is even more sweeter.
Please know that whenever you are uncomfortable, or whatever is out there that you’re a little afraid of. Once you go there, there’s a lot of great things in store for you. Therefore, the next time you find yourself afraid to take that step forward, know that your greatest victory will come once you step outside of your comfort zone. Truly, the only way you can actually move forward, fully stepping into your purpose, is by stepping outside of your comfort zone.
And finally, number five, the fifth encouraging word to hear right now. You deserve to rest and to prioritize taking care of you now. The truth is you deserve to rest and you deserve to prioritize taking care of you. Your schedule is constantly full of all the little things without much time to take care of yourself. However, you absolutely deserve to prioritize your own mental health. It is essential. Therefore, let me be the voice to tell you that I know you’re doing all the things, serving all the people. Pouring your heart running on empty.
However, you must take care of yourself and you must rest and do the things that are gonna revive your soul. So slow down. It’s okay if certain tasks don’t get done. As well as, it is absolutely okay for things to get pushed off to the next week. It’s okay if this idealized version of perfection in which you try to live through and have your home be in and your duties and jobs and responsibilities fulfilled by, it’s okay if they’re not perfect. They shouldn’t be. If this is the only thing you take with you from this blog post, let it be this. It’s absolutely necessary to make sure you are giving your body the rest that it needs and that you prioritize taking care of you. That is absolutely essential in order to live the life you are called to life – to prioritize taking care of you!
